Hey everyone! Welcome to week 4, ALREADY! What a fast quarter this is turning out to be! So this week’s theme is Haiti, chosen by our MC for the week, ALEX WONG, ping pong champion and stunt double in movies like Balls of Fury, fresh from MC’ing The First Annual Bruin Speech Contest with Nina last week!
Parus Suraprasert, Thai entrepeeur and extraordinaire, and ironically also a finalist of American Idol and America’s Got Talent, will be presenting this week’s Leader of the Week.
Donald Ung, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and recent inductee into the American Baseball Hall of Fame, will be presenting this week’s Power Workshop.
So this will be the first completely normal IDEAL meeting this quarter, now that we successfully did our Speech Contest. I sure am looking forward to it! We will make “leadership a habit, not an act.”
We have a few announcements about our preparations for our Big Bear retreat, among other things. So I definitely hope to see you there this Tuesday! I am glad we got this weekend of sunshine, us Southern Californians sure as hell needed it. We photosynthesize like the plants.
