The topic for week 5 meeting is Debate! Debate is a useful skill for any chosen path of life. With its emphasis on critical thinking, effective communication, and teamwork, it teaches skills that serve us well in school, in the workplace and in life. So come to our meeting to practice your debating skills together with us!
Members will be divided into two teams: one group will take the pros stand, the other will take the con stand. Each participant must give a brief presentation defending their stand and rebutting their opponents. Everyone will be given a chance to speak. Detailed rule will be explained during the meeting.
